About Us
Our Mission
Our mission is to teach through developmentally appropriate curriculum and hands-on learning experiences that spark curiosity and reflect each child’s interests. We provide opportunities for children to build self-regulation, motor skills, communication skills, and creativity through meaningful activities and plenty of room for expression.
We focus on school-readiness in fun, engaging ways, including constructive play, circle time, group learning, and outdoor exploration.
We believe success happens when teachers and families work together, and we value the ongoing support of our parents. Our center offers a warm, welcoming environment with staff who provide personal attention and a family-like atmosphere. Together, let’s make a difference that lasts a lifetime!
Our Philosophy
We believe children learn best by example, and we strive to be positive role models each day. Positive reinforcement helps children build confidence and healthy self-esteem, and we encourage sharing, turn-taking, participation, and good manners—no matter the child’s age.
We create an environment that supports free expression and stimulates learning in all areas of development. By maintaining an engaging, well-rounded curriculum, we believe that everything can be learned during these important early childhood years.
Classroom Placement
Each child is unique and develops at their own pace. To honor each child’s individual needs, we place children in classrooms based on their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development, as well as age.
Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where every child—regardless of ability—can learn, be challenged, and grow. Classrooms are assigned each August, and children typically remain with their class for the full year unless an unforeseen need arises or the child ages out of the group.
We also consider classroom moves for children who show advanced development or when other special situations occur. Above all, placement decisions are made with the child’s best interest in mind.

Meet the Teachers
Ms. Jocy-
Hello everyone,
My name is Jocy,
and I am the Director in place here at Snell’s. I have worked with children since I was in high school. I would volunteer at Kids Place in the summer when visiting my aunt, who happens to be Ms. Carina. I would babysit for family and family friends as well. My goal as the director is to provide a safe and fun classroom for your children to enjoy and learn in. I enjoy more hands-on activities to get the children involved and excited about learning.
A little about me- I’m a proud pet parent to two chihuahuas, Oreo and Chuck, and three cats: Loki, Maple, and Blossom. I like spending quality time with my family and animals, reading, and writing.
Mr. Ubaldo-

I enjoy serving and helping others.
